Consignment is for a three month period. Price and acceptance of items will be determined by COS.
COS will do our best to sell your items at the price initially set for a 2 month period. Items may be reduced 10% during this time to facilitate a sale. After 2 months, items will be reduced by 20%. Items prior to sale remain subject to your control and may be reclaimed at anytime.
Your consignment ends at 3 months. If you have not reclaimed your items at this time, the price will be reduced by 50% for one additional month. This will be our last payment to you. At the end of the 4th month all unclaimed items will be donated or become property of COS, with no further notice.
COS will make every effort to handle all consigned items with care; however, COS is not responsible for fire, theft, or damage to your property.
Upholstered furniture must be clean upon arrival, otherwise consignor will incur cleaning or return delivery charges.
Checks will be mailed by the 10th by COS for the previous month's sales. Checks under $15.00 will remain in the store to be picked up.
We offer a 60/40 split, on home decor items, consignors receive the 60% commission. This commission remains the same even for small ticket items. Clothing, shoes, handbags & accessories are a 50-50 split.
We accept consignments on Tues, Wed, and Friday's. No Walk -In's! Please call ahead and let us know you would like to drop off your items. For large items, please bring in or email pictures to consignmentsonsouth.com for approval. Consignors are responsible for pulling their own consignments and we will be happy to pack them up for you.
A minimal shop handling fee will be added to each consigned item & paid for by the customer.
When consigning or purchasing large items, we suggest that you bring enough help to move your pieces in or out of the store. If you do not have help, we will be happy furnish reputable movers.
